Guess what - this is half traditional for a change. ^_^
I hope it looks kind'a like Al. ^_^" I didn't use any references and I don't draw Al much... (actually, I don't think I've done more than sketch him... And usually I get his part on the wrong side. >_>" )

I made the lineart in pen yesterday, after buying a pen I really like three days ago - and I usually don't like pens. It was $2.69, and says Picma Micron 005 (0.20mm line width) (while finishing up the shadows with the pen, I found that it seemed to be running out of ink. >_>" I just drew a few things with it, too. Like, not even a page worth of doodles.) But it's a very nice pen besides that. It works overtop graphite and it doesn't spread or smear.

I did the coloring in PhotoShop (and didn't edit the lineart any because I felt it'd be wrong ^_^" ) (by the way, I scanned the picture higher than usual, so even though it's a small picture, the original is something like three times that small. The actual picture is smaller than the non-fullsize, so those breaks in the shading aren't visible in actual size.)
Heh... I haven't been doing much these past few days because I've been unofficially doing things for the Edward-Elric club. Thought I should at least put a little something up.

(looks in movie to see how close to Al I got him) Gah! I didn't make his eyes brown enough! >_< But, surprisingly, besides that, I think he looks pretty good for a free-hand sketch. ^_^
