Something I drew after reading the fanfic "Snow" by
 Scene it's from: "Ed couldn’t really understand what they were saying. He was too focused on watching the blood slide down the glass, on tasting it on his stained lips. He looked down at his hand, at the dripping crimson, and brought it up to his mouth." My pictures never seem as dark as they should. ^_^" Done without any references (his hair looks awful), in about two hours (started a few minutes after reading the fic... I couldn't get it out of my head), using the Sakura pigma micron 005 pen I've bought (I think it's running out of ink... I probably shouldn't have colored all that black in with it ^_^" ) and Blue and Carmine Red Prismacolor Col-Erase colored pencils. By the way, for once, it almost takes up a whole page. (the vector of Al I made did, too, actually, before I edited it - although, that pic has nothing at all to do with this one. ^_^" ) |

I love how crazy/vacant he looks. His eyes are so haunting. I also like how pale the red is... it makes it look so surreal, and he was pretty whacked out by that point...

But, I'm glad you like it. ^_^ I wasn't sure how noticable the blood and eyes stuff was. (I was tempted to color his eyes in PhotoShop, because I kept wanting them to be kind'a dull yellow, but I thought it might be better to only have red in the pic.)

The only critique I can offer is that Ed's tongue--while very well-drawn--looks almost comical, which I'm sure you weren't going for... and then Ed had taken his glove off to touch the dog, so his hand should be bare.
Other than that, I am *SO* in love with this... it makes me want to draw my own version of this part... but I probably never will ^_^; Anyway, it would never be this awesome.
