Who has onigiri? - I do. :D
Yesterday I bought some Sushi Rice and some Nori sheets from Kroger's, and today I tried making some (going partly by the cooking directions on the bag of rice, and partly from some directions I'd found on two or three different sites). I made four all together. I ate one today and saved the other three in the refrigerator for later.
I didn't think about buying anything for filling yesterday, though, so all I had around the house was one can of tuna, and I thought it would be best if I not mess with it today.
I made one of these pain, and the other three with a bit of beef flavoring, by mixing a small amount of water with a beef bouillon cube, and some dried chives, and mixing a little of the rice in with it, and used that as filling. I thought it tasted right for the one I'd eaten so far (didn't seem that far off from the salmon filled ones I'd bought from Tensuke Market before. Probably because of the salt in the cube?). ...I think I've found that it's easiest to add the filling after shaping the rice ball into a triangle, and then poking the hole through one of the corners (after two tries otherwise). Also, I'd looked at the remaining ones in the refrigerator a few minutes ago and I think the beef flavoring might be leaking through the rest of the rice now. So... maybe it would have been better if I didn't use something quite as... eager to disperse.
(edit: actually, I think the beef bouillon stayed where I'd put it. So maybe it is an okay thing to use.)

I'd also bought a new flashdrive and pair of headphones, since I broke one of each the day before while trying to play a movie, as well as buying a DVD drive cleaning disc (which didn't help with the movie issue :| ).
