Description
Can you tell who it is (for those who should know)? Does it look like him? Does it look realistic? (I referenced him and realistic stuff so much back and forth, that I can't tell anymore if it's realistic or manga style...)
I was wanting to draw him looking all serious and cool like that, and then I saw this picture [link] and wanted to try drawing something realistic again, so I put the two together. And I used lots of Photoshop CS2 brushes. Because... because people like brushes. >_< (and I thought a little bit of texture would look better)
So, I thought I'd try sketching out basically what I wanted to do, before shading and stuff. Redrew it maybe three times, shaded it twice (first time drawing and shading was with pencil). And, it's still supposed to be a sketch, before really shading it.
I referenced from a lot of things, but mainly from a mirror, and ch. 418 of the manga.

I'd say this is something between realistic and true manga. Perhaps just a cartoon kind of style. I can say this is way better than the drabbles I keep seeing in the fan art and manga/anime section of DA.
You surely could add more shading or make the current shading stronger.
I like the way you did his lips (I am not good at drawing lips, myself)
